Process of Unlocking a Mobile Device Using Passware Kit Mobile  

The case began with the mobile device, a Realme C25Y, powered off and completely drained. After recharging, we discovered the device was secured with an unknown PIN, possibly four digits long. Our first task was to identify the phone model using the IMEI information provided by the client. 

Once the model was confirmed, we connected the phone to Passware Kit Mobile (PKM) and selected the appropriate settings. Following the software’s instructions, we placed the device into Boot ROM mode to enable PKM to interact with it. The next step involved performing a data dump of 106.24 GB, a process that took approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. 

With the data dump complete, PKM prompted us to choose a password-cracking method. Options included Bruteforce, Dictionary, and Xieve attacks. Since the length of the PIN was unknown, we prepared for an exhaustive search. Remarkably, PKM cracked the 4-digit PIN in just two minutes, completing the entire process in under 2 hours.
